Luminere is a new immersive outdoor evening light and sound experience at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC by Klip Collective. I did the initial tech design on the lighting and audio systems and then worked with 4Wall to make it all happen. This is the biggest project I’ve ever worked on and it took almost 7 years to bring it from proposal to completion. So many folks were involved in this, including Tait Towers, 4 Wall, Thrasos, Oliver Comm, Smart Monkeys, and the countless other vendors on the Biltmore side. Julian Grefe (my bud and Pink Skull bandmate) wrote and recorded a freaking orchestral score! Mary Lattimore (and her Mom!) and Julianna Barwick played on it as well as the Asheville Symphony Orchestra and the
Budapest Film Orchestra & Budapest Film Choir.
